Steve Radley
(Whit)
Steve is excited to join Life In Arts Productions for their return to the stage. A graduate from George Fox University with a minor in Theater Arts, Steve has been active in community theater in the Portland area over the last decade plus. Favorite roles include Sir Robin in “Spamalot” (HART Theatre), Simon Zealotes in “Jesus Christ Superstar” (Stumptown Stages), Cain/Japheth in “Children of Eden” (Canby Community Theatre), and Moonface Martin in “Anything Goes” (Sherwood Foundation for the Arts).
Outside of theater, Steve lives in Beaverton with his wife, Sarah, and his cat, Frodo, looking to make as much of a positive dent in this world as he can before he leaves. He enjoys the outdoors, film, video games, and writing, although there isn’t nearly enough time to do a lot of that last one these days. In his professional life he works as a Support Analyst in the IT department of Otak, a local architecture and civil design firm.
Steve first came to work with Life In Arts during the pandemic, participating in many readings hosted over Zoom, which was a much-needed theatrical outlet back when performing in person simply wasn’t possible. He is beyond excited to finally work with so many talented and hard-working people in person after embarking on a number of journeys in a purely virtual sense.
Steve hopes you enjoy what the fantastic work of this incredible cast and crew and this production of Of Mice and Men – it’s going to be fantastic.
“Live every day as if it were your last, because if the theory of multiple dimensions holds to be true as it seems to based on all experimental evidence, then every smallest possible fraction of time in some dimension you did just die. Of course, in some possible universe you also just ran around on top of the banquet table in Buckingham Palace with pink polkadot underwear on your head singing ‘Always Look on the Bright Side of Life’ while the Queen played accordion to accompany you.”
